Update Notes 1.2.0 - NEW FEATURES[edit | edit source]

This update represents a major milestone in the development of Assassin’s Creed Rebellion and it comes packed with brand new features that have been requested by the community. Let’s start, shall we?

What’s new?[edit | edit source]

Achievements[edit | edit source]

You should be proud of the efforts you are making in your fight against the Templars and Update 1.2.0 adds Achievements rewarding you for reaching significant milestones!

Achievements will reward you for reaching multiple milestones.

How it works

Achievements are cumulative objectives you can strive to complete or that will be completed naturally as you progress through the game. From completing a certain number of Standard missions, to recruiting a specific number of Heroes, Achievements are varied and have multiple tiers to complete.

Each tier is increasingly difficult to reach, but the rewards are also getting better and better as you reach higher tiers. When a tier is completed, you will receive a notification letting you know that you have a reward to collect and that you will simply need to go to the Achievement menu to collect it - that easy!

While some Achievements will be retroactive (such as the ones based on your Hero roster), others will only start being tracked after the update. Lastly, DNA fragments of Claudia Auditore da Firenze will become obtainable only through completing Achievements, making her a special prize for dedicated players!

You can find the list of Achievements by tapping the “Objectives” button (you will also notice our badass new icon) and then tapping the “Achievements” tab.

Daily Login Rewards[edit | edit source]

Receiving Daily Rewards to help you progress through the game is also another big feature requested by the community and boy did we deliver! You will be rewarded each day for playing the game!

How it works

When launching the game for the first time of the day, you will be taken to the Daily Rewards Calendar to collect your reward. You will collect the rewards in the order that they appear. It’s important to play at least once a day if you want to collect all the rewards of the Daily Rewards Calendar before it gets replaced by a new one.

You can expect to collect different rewards: Coins, Wood, all the way to DNA fragments of a specific Hero handpicked each month by the team. The selected Hero for our first Daily Rewards Calendar will be Shakir al-Zahid. Don’t forget to play daily in order to collect all the freebies!

You can check your Daily Rewards Calendar by tapping “More” > “Daily Rewards” in the menu.

What was improved?[edit | edit source]

Right off the bat, you will probably notice shorter loading times as we have been working relentlessly on optimizing the game, but the fight is not over! We also improved the following points:

· Dialogue texts now appear faster.

· Daily Objectives will now change… well daily. We added more objectives based on gameplay (assassinate enemies, kill enemies, open chests), based on the Villa (collect Intel, craft a potion) and they will be on a random rotation which will be re-rolled each day.

· It is now possible to receive push notifications for news on updates, events, promotions, and more! To manage your notifications, tap “More” > “Options” and then you’ll be able to toggle them On or Off.

What changed or got fixed?[edit | edit source]

A lot got fixed in Update 1.2.0 and it’s almost impossible to list everything, but we wanted to give you a little bit more visibility so here’s most of the important stuff.

Villa[edit | edit source]

· Closing the game just before claiming the first crafted weapon as part of the tutorial was causing a progression blocker as the weapon couldn’t be claimed latter on.

· Items being crafted in the Supply Room sometimes showed the boots icon instead of the correct icon.

· Doubletapping the Intel Room while the Intel stock was full wasn’t allowing to zoom into the room.

· The “Choose Gear”, “Training” and “Inventory” menus were showing as empty when pressing “back” after viewing the full detail of an item. Also, the Inventory was disappearing after selling an item.

· Heroes sometimes walked in place instead of performing their task in rooms.

· The filter in the “Inventory” menu was making all items disappear even when restoring the filter to display “All”.

· The second and third Living Quarters are replaced with Living Quarters Extensions and the rate of HP regeneration was lowered. You won’t be able to always rely on the same Heroes when going on missions meaning you will have to manage your roster more carefully. Make sure everyone gets enough rest!

· Heroes were sometimes getting stuck in a room even if the task was completed or the item had been claimed. They were still available to be assigned somewhere else, but that was an annoying visual bug.

· It was possible to craft the “Strong Medicine” in a level 1 Apothecary, but it actually needs an Apothecary level 3.

· It was sometimes impossible to come back from the building room menu and cancel the process.

· The second slot and visual improvements in the Training room are now unlocked at level 3 instead of level 4. This will help you train more Heroes sooner!

Missions[edit | edit source]

· Fixed instances of missing textures/props and out of place props in multiple missions.

· Many missions had rooms not yet discovered revealed when they should be hidden.

· Sometimes when successfully completing a mission, the next missions wouldn’t appear right away on the map and needed the user to reboot the game to have them displayed.

· When bashing a chest open, the game sometimes showed the incorrect loot that would have actually been obtained through lockpicking.

Assassins[edit | edit source]

· The “Acolyte” perk has been renamed “Wise Mentor”.

· Aguilar – “Throwing Knives” sometimes caused the game to freeze.

· Jarya – She now has “Expert Freerunning”.

· Jorge – “Shield Wall” triggered the wrong animation.

· Rodrigo – No longer has “Careful Mentor” perk. It was replaced with “Treasure Seeker” which allows the hero to gather more Coins and generate them faster with their vast knowledge of treasure hunting.

· Shao Jun - “Assassination Expert Rank 3 - Air Assassination” didn’t allow to perform air assassinations as it should.

· Many of the Heroes’ skills were not unlocked at the appropriate rank. Some skills were moved to a higher rank and other will see their required rank lowered. Other changes to come.

What’s next?[edit | edit source]

That’s a lot of new stuff and many improvements! Many things might still change on our way to the global release, but we hope you will enjoy what’s included in Update 1.2.0. Feel free to give us your opinion as we always appreciate your feedback and keep a close eye on the community. The team is dedicated to make Assassin’s Creed Rebellion the best game possible!
