User blog:D. Cello/It's Thursday, Thursday, gettin down on thursday...

And its almost the end of another week here on our lovely wiki. So once again, I'll make some announcements/news/updates/something.
First off, as some -- read: most -- of you might have already know, Ubisoft opened the pre-order of a black version Desmond's Hoodie, which our favorite bartender-turned-assassin will use on the upcoming game Assassin's Creed: Revelations.
The hoodie is based on in-game assets and is made of dozens of custom parts, ensuring you get the most faitfully possible recreation in the market. So head over to UbiWorkshop and grab (or pre-grab) yours now! [1]
Also, aparently following the suggestion of Gabe Graziani, my Art Director Sicksteen has created two main channels for the wiki:
So now, besides the wiki, IRC and Skype (more on that below), you know can follow us and your favorite franchise on Facebook and Twitter! Your daily dose of Assassin's Creed right at the tip of your hidden blades!
Updating the Revelations news section, we from the ACWiki accompanied the E3 LIVE Ubisoft conference on Youtube and on the IRC, and more than 30 users joined us on the chat while things happen! If someone from Ubisoft is reading this, take those things into account:
- People LOVED AC's news
- People LOVED Altaïr's appearance.
- People LOVED FarCry 3 news
- People LOVED Altaïr's appearance. Twice.
- People HATED Mr Caffeine =/
- Most of the hate for Mr Caffeine came from the crowd present in the conference dead mood, what made his jokes too excited for a crowd who was apparently suffering from depression.
And so, the videos released this week were:
- Revelations Cinematic Trailer = Awesome
- Revelations' E3 Commented Demo
- Desmond's Journey Teaser Trailer (includes the first in-game view of the hoodie on pre-sale)
And lastly, earlier today Rayne, Sima, Elch, yours truly me and a couple more users created a ACWiki group and held a Skype conference, which proved to be highly fun. We talked from "the outcome of Ezio's capture since no cinematic video of AC ever proved meaningful in the past" up to "why dinossaurs didn't evolved again after the meteor hit Earth", passing through "Lovefool" by the Cardigans and "Free Bird" by Leonard Skynard XD So now, in addition to the IRC, all who wants to get to know each other better, make friends, and talk about the AC Series and other things now have a new place to go. Just log in on the IRC and send to one of my squadmates your Skype ID and you will enter a whole new level of awesomeness.
Just clarifying: Skype is a text and voice based chat program, and it's FREE. All you have to do is download the client and create an account. See you there! ;D
As always, welcome to the new editors, hello to the casual readers, and a friendly hug at the veteran users. (And a kiss on all cute chicks, I'm on room 69 until sunday)
Safety and peace, people, and happy editing!
