User blog:D. Cello/It's Friday, Friday, gettin down on friday...

And its the end of another week here on our lovely wiki. So I tought I would begin the weekend (or end the week, whatever you reader prefers to think) with a few announcements/news/updates/something.
First of all, our Apprentice Initiative it's at full swing! We already have seven apprentices training under masters (including your handsome me) and one novice waiting to be picked. In fact, the project has been so "succesful" we've had a shortage of masters, since each staff member can only pick one student per time. But still, this is going awesomely, so every single one of you who have NOT applied and want a shot at joining our awesome squad of staff members, go sign up now!
Next, I would liek to remind you all of our Good and Featured Articles system, which was created a logn time ago (and was actually the reason why I created the Istruttori, who now have become so much bigger than simply overseeing pages ^^) and has recently seen a resurfacing here on wiki. If there's a article you think it's above regular, go over there and nominate him to a increased status. If it gets promoted, you will receive an award and maybe even a cookie! Also make sure to vote in the other open nominations, as its a chance for you to be part of some decisions that really matter here on our lovely community. And before I forget, every user who has extensevily helped up a page to a higher status gets an medal. And everyone loves badges, right? =P

And now off the wiki and into the franchise, we had the release of a teaser trailer for the new Assassin's Creed: Revelations which contained some glimpses of what may be the CGI trailer that will be released on June 6th. Some or probably most of you have already seen it, but for those who didn't or just want to watch it again, head over to our fantastic news coverage post of the new game made by User:Subject 16* (and updated with the video by User:Assassin-Rayne) and stay tuned for more news!
And that's pretty much all for today. Now, I would like to leave you with a special video to get us on the mood for friday. And no, it's not Rickrolling.
Welcome to the new editors, hello to the casual readers, and a friendly hug at the veteran users. (And a kiss on all cute chicks, I'm on room 709 until monday)
Safety and peace, people, and happy editing!
