Uberto Alberti was a Gonfaloniere di Giustizia, a powerful lawyer, who, despite being self taught, won every case. He allied himself with the Auditore family, becoming a trusted friend of Giovanni Auditore da Firenze. However, unbeknownst to him, Uberto had beef with the Medici bank, which was close with the Auditore family. Thus, he betrayed his friends by joining the Templars and sentencing Giovanni and two of his sons to death.
Son of Francesco de' Pazzi, Vieri was a young member of the Florentine House of Pazzi. Majority of the family, including Vieri himself, were members of the Templar Order, which sought to control Florence through the banking industry.
