This is a page for the characters in the Assassin's Creed Universe that I will create. I enjoy creating characters and stories and the like, so this is becoming a new hobby for me. Obviously they are not complete; most of what I have is just ideas I put together. Thank you for checking this out!

Assassins[edit | edit source]

Jean-Louis d'Arnaud[edit | edit source]

Full Name: Jean-Louis Alexandre Pierre Chaput d'Arnaud

Gender: Male

Appearance: Short, messy brown hair, brown eyes, fair skin. He is tall in height, and wears standard French assassin's gear that also has red and blue colors to signify his allegiance to the French Brotherhood.

Weapons: Charleville 1777 Musket with bayonet attachment, two flintlock pistols, and a sabre.

Era: French Revolution, Napoleonic Wars.

Bio: Born the child of Jacques and Madeleine d’Arnaud, two French countryside peasants in 1766, Jean-Louis d'Arnaud always hated the inequality and indifference of the aristocracy in France. He followed in his older brother Philippe's footsteps and became an Assassin, rising up against the Templar-backed monarchy. By the time Jean-Louis had reached the rank of Disciple, his brother had become a Master Assassin. However, after the Assassins defeated the monarchy, with help by famous figures such as Marquis de Lafayette and Charlotte Corday, the peasants continued to fight, and the Assassins lost control of the war, specifically to the radical left-wing revolutionary group by the name of the Jacobin Club. Their leader, Maximilien de Robespierre, had lost his mind to an Apple of Eden and was now using it to send the peasants into a murderous frenzy. After his brother was executed by the guillotine, Jean-Louis, by now an experienced veteran, led the Assassins to end the Reign of Terror, making peace until a Templar by the name of Napoleon Bonaparte seized control of the Apple and started the Napoleonic Wars. After many years, Napoleon was defeated at the Battle of Waterloo. Later, Jean-Louis poisoned Napoleon with arsenic, having physician François Carlo Antommarchi bribed to state in his autopsy that the cause of death was stomach cancer. Jean-Louis died soon after, leaving behind a wife, Marie-Thérèse, and three children: Philippe, Jacques, and Isabelle, the former of which would become a leader of the Assassins in his own time.

Edgar Crouch[edit | edit source]

Full Name: Edgar Gareth Ayers Crouch

Gender: Male

Appearance: Edgar Crouch was a young man in his 30’s who wore a black top hat and a black frock coat, the common clothing for a member of the upper-class. He had fairly short black hair, sideburns and a beard. He was never seen without his pipe and his cane, which also double as a dagger and a rapier, respectively. He wore gloves wherever he went for all occasions. Rumor has it that this is because he has multiple scars from being an operative in his youth. Around his neck was a necklace bearing the cross of the Templars.

Weapons: Dagger, Swordstick (Rapier), Duelling Pistol, Poisons.

Era: Victorian Era

Bio: A popular and influential high society nobleman and businessman during the Victorian Era, Edgar Crouch was also secretly a Templar operative and leader. He would manage Templar missions and occasionally take care of an oblivious and unsuspicious target himself, usually by inviting them to his manor and then either poisoning, strangling, or stabbing them to death. He was a very kind and charismatic man, as well as brave, and he would stand and fight if confronted. He also donated to charity and helped the poor. However, his kind hearted actions were in stark contrast to the ruthless, merciless, and efficient way with which he dealt with his victims. He was very faithful to the Templar cause and supported it completely selflessly. He also has a habit of collecting unique items in respect of his victims, and fully believes in the term “may the end justify the means.”
