"Here's my review. Ah, not until the 16th I'm afraid."

So, as you can probably tell, this is a test mock-up for our new reviews. Obviously, when it comes to the real thing, this little block of text will be introducing the review, as well as the game/comic/movie (we hope!) being reviewed. For the purposes of this particular article however, I'm just prattling on to take up room and slowly whittle down your resistance whilst the hidden, ultrasonic sound file I've got playing in the background tells your dog to start eating your shoes.

That all said and done, lets get reviewing!

The good[edit | edit source]

Here is where we'll detail the good things about the game with (or without) spoiling the game for you. These sections should be a good three or four paragraphs long, with the odd picture littering throughout. Also, it's probably a good idea to make it fairly lighthearted, maybe include the odd joke; unless your username is Master Sima Yi (who can't joke for shit).

On the subject of spoilers, we've literally just made the decision to go the IGN-way and treat these reviews like a XXX-film; that's the full frontal male nudity of spoilers people! Unfortunately, that was a lie. There will be slight spoilers in these reviews, you can't avoid them, the entire site is littered with the things, but we won't really be going into massive detail.

I'm gonna go a little more into layout now. Each review will have four main sections. Firstly, following our breif introduction is "The good"; this section will probably hold the bulk of our review (unless the subject being reviewed ends up being a monumental failure of human imagination). If any quotes are included in the review at all, they should probably be italicised to differentiate them from the main text, oh, and sourced!!!!!. For example, Darby McDevitt recently said in an interview with EscoBlades that "The [Assassin's Creed] Wiki is an amazing resource because as a writer I use it to look, and I say 'What things have we been really clear about, what things do the fans know for certain?'[…] and that was a great help when we were compiling the encyclopedia, for example."([:File:MichellottoStrangle.png) For the purposes of this mock review, the "source" is actually just a link to a picture of Micheletto Corella experiencing a sexual orgasm, but on the real reviews, it will obviously link to the actually source.

The bad[edit | edit source]

Obviously, as the title suggests, this section will cover any and all bad aspects of the game. This could be graphical glitches, flat storytelling or anything the reviewer just didn't like about the subject at hand. Of course, this is still a part of the review, so any personal opinion should most certainly be included, but lets keep the slander and bitching to a minimum; simply state what's wrong, and whether or not it affected your opinion of the final product.

If you just can't help but offer suggestions, here's were you'll cream. You can do it here, or rather, in the final paragraph of the section; nothing major of course, but a simple "So and so would probably have found it easier to balance the game's multiplayer aspect through the use of such and such as opposed to randomly guessing." [File:Juno.jpg|thumb|right|200px|This pictures only here because I love it. Whatever image goes here in the actualy review should probably have something to do with the subject at hand. Just saying.]

Scores[edit | edit source]

Normally, there wouldn't be any bulks of text in this section, but for the purposes of this mock up, I'm including a brief description of what's going on here. Now, in this section we will detail several scoreable points about the game, and give them a grade out of ten. For example;

*Graphics:
*Gameplay:
*Story:
*Replayabilty:
*Multiplayer:
*Innovation:
*Final score:
8/10
8/10
8/10
8/10
8/10
8/10
8/10

Top moment[edit | edit source]

Here, just include a brief, description of your favourite moment of the game. Only needs to be two or three sentences, if that. No spoilers.
