Any particular reason why this article is named "Tamir the Merchant" and not just "Tamir"?

Maybe the one below might answer your question. There are two Tamirs from two different games who are different. Disambig-ing.--Silver Mage Ω 13:15, January 18, 2010 (UTC)

Two Guys?[edit source]

So, there is Tamir character in Altaïr's Chronicles and in the main game? And both are killed... strange. Maybe they are two different man... or retcon... or what? Master Mold 15:02, October 29, 2009 (UTC)

Yaaah, retcon. Altaïr killed him, and then killed he again just for the sake of it. Maybe Ezio will kill him too, you know, for keeping family tradition and stuff. Retcon to what? oO -- D. Cello 16:10, January 18, 2010 (UTC)

Moving Tamir back[edit source]

Can anyone move Tamir back to "Tamir"? --Silver Mage Ω 12:00, January 24, 2010 (UTC)

We have disambiguation page named Tamir already. -- D. Cello 14:02, January 24, 2010 (UTC)

If Al Mualim's real name was taken from the mobile game (Rashid ad-Din Sinan) and is considered his true name on this wiki, why is Tamir's full name (Tamir Bin Musa) from the same game only a footnote? Idarak (talk) 18:56, September 10, 2015 (UTC) Idarak

Because Rashid ad-Din Sinan is based on a real person of the same name.--Bovkaffe (talk) 19:23, September 10, 2015 (UTC)
