Since there wasn't enough space in the edit summary[edit source]
She's definitely named after the queen because she's the only other Shaqilat/Shagilat I can find any mention of (see Google; "Shaqilath" is probably a weird Greco-Roman chronicler's interpretation), and Gamilat is named after her daughter-in-law, the last queen. The circumstantial evidence is pretty strong. Doxe di Costantinopoli (talk) 16:03, April 17, 2018 (UTC)
- It still doesnt confirm that she, along with Gamilat, are named after them directly. There can be alot of individuals who shares the same name, even if they arent documented in real life and historical articles (Like how many individuals are named Thutmose, but arent related to them or named after them directly.) In my personal opinion, if you stated that they share the same name as the Nabatean royals, that would have sound a lot more better and acceptable, but to bluntly say they are named after them directly is a no from me, since it kinda implies they are related to them somehow even though there's no comfirmation. - Relatively obscure cultures like the Nabataeans don't tend to have many known individuals beyond their rulers, if even their names are known, so to say "other people could have shared the same name" seems a weak counter and sounds more like speculation to me than anything I said. If it's a question of my choice of wording, by all menas amend my wording, but to revert it altogether just seems overly pedantic to me. Doxe di Costantinopoli (talk) 16:20, April 17, 2018 (UTC)
- I'm afraid that is irrelevant Doxe. You're speculating that this particular historical individual is the inspiration for the characters name without confirmation from a verifiable source. The key word is speculating. Speculation is not allowed on our articles in any form, so it will continue to be reverted until such time that it is confirmed by Ubisoft. I'm afraid persistence in the matter from your end is likely to result in an official warning. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 16:37, April 17, 2018 (UTC)
