Talk:Rashid ad-Din Sinan's knife
I doubt that there is anything mysterious or mystical about the knife to be honest.....

True it was never said it was magical it just has a special poison that knocks the person stabbed with it out Auditor(e) 19:52, April 24, 2010 (UTC)
Can't we just delete this? It adds nothing important to the wiki. -- Master Sima Yi 09:56, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
I dont think it should be deleted just create a new section on the Al Mualim article and copy and paste it ill even do it if you want

- Well, I like it, so I say: keep it here! =P
Joke aside, this knife appeared in the first game and was never seen again, what meant it was some kind of unique knife. Altaïr's sword has an article, it would be only right Al Mualim's would too as per wiki style. Something we can do is change the Knifes, Daggers, Swords, Axes and other similar articles to refer to the armament species instead of in-game table, and then Add this to a section in the "Knifes and Daggers" article. I think it doesn't really fit in Al Mualim's character page. -- D. Cello 18:20, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
- Or maybe it was just so unimportant that they never showed it again? :D -- Master Sima Yi 11:43, September 28, 2010 (UTC)
Hmmm good idea :)

Is this knife even poisoned because there's no mention of it and Al Mualim says 'You slept the sleep of the wound' or something like that...... If you're stabbed in the liver or kidney (where Altair did get stabbed) you will usually be out cold in around 45 seconds and wake up several hours later after it's been stitched back up...... This happened to a friend of mine during a mugging..... EchoAltair 21:56, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
However, it is a really ool knife and I reckon it should have it's own thing..... EchoAltair 21:57, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
that sucks about your friend, i hope hes better now, and that is true, but the real life assassins (reportedly) used to have fake killings of their members using poison to drug them and waking them up in a garden full of pretty ladies (kinda like the one in the back where you fight Al Mualim at the end) so that the member would think he died. least it says that on wikipedia, apparently marco polo wrote about it. That's a common myth though, usually walking hand-in-hand with the 'all assassins were druggies' one..... It sounds like when you get stabbed in those organs, it releases toxins into your bloodstream and these will cause you to go in toxic shock and pass out..... Once the blood cleans itself out, you wake up absolutely fine...... There isn't even drugs out today that work that well......EchoAltair 20:48, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
Deletion?[edit source]
Does anybody else think that this article should just be deleted? As Sima said almost four years ago, it doesn't really add anything important to the wiki, and Al Mualim's knife is too minor a thing to warrant an article, in my opinion. --Crimson Knight Intercom 20:26, May 11, 2014 (UTC)
