Talk:Manuel Palaiologos
Real life character?[edit source]
The Palaeologos dynasty is a real one and there was indeed a Manuel Palaeologos who ruled over the Byzantine Empire but only from 1391 until he died in 1425 (wikipedia:Manuel II Palaiologos). The game takes place in 1511...
I know that Game Informer stated "real-life historical figure" but they are not Ubisoft themselves, they may have mistaken the character with the latter. I googled a potential Manuel III Palaiologos who may have been his descendant but I found nothing. Shouldn't we reconsider whether or not he's a real-life character? --PhantomT1412 16:37, July 21, 2011 (UTC)

- no he's the secondary antagonist. The main antagonist is Ahmet who's the grand master of the templar order.78.172.9.167 17:42, December 8, 2011 (UTC)
Shouldn't we put him in the templars category in ACR template?Imperial Guerreiro 22:13, November 16, 2011 (UTC)
Why did he help Ahmet?[edit source]
I know that Ahmet had become Grandmaster of the Templars and all, but in order for Ahmet to become the Sultan, Manuel's plans to restore the Byzantine Empire would have had to have been stopped.
I cannot find any logical reason for Manuel and Ahmet to willingly work together as they were, aside from both of them being Templars. And as we have learned from Rashid and Robert, Rodrigo and Cesare, or Haytham and Church, that often isn't enough. Wierdperson31 (talk) 03:09, January 6, 2013 (UTC)
