I realized that the game says he dies in 1760, but his actual death year is 1761.

Did he survie from his confrontation with Shay, only to die a year leater? 67.20.31.121 22:17, November 15, 2014 (UTC)Solomano

No, but Assassin's Creed does have a tradition of being fairly accurate with historical events. This, however, is an exception.--Bovkaffe (talk) 22:22, November 15, 2014 (UTC)

de la vs de La?[edit source]

Why change it to "de la"? I've browsed the internet for a bit, and nearly all sources use "de La", even the French ones. Crook The Constantine District 17:38, November 23, 2014 (UTC)

I may have been wrong about that one, it's just that it didn't seem make any sense that "La" is spelt with a capital letter.--Bovkaffe (talk) 17:42, November 23, 2014 (UTC)

I would have agreed with the change, if it weren't for the fact that most sources seem to spell it with a capital. Maybe it's an older type of French, like the capitalized nouns in Black Flag's English? I don't know :P I do think we should change it back though, in this instance at least.
EDIT: I'll need to check the game some more - subtitles have used a capital so far, yet the database entry notification for Chevalier didn't... Crook The Constantine District 17:48, November 23, 2014 (UTC)

Profile pic?[edit source]

I understand that there may be problems trying to find a good profile picture of this guy, but I feel that the concept art is not the best substitute. The actual model used in the game looks completely different. I found that the polish AC wiki had a decent picture of him, maybe we could use that one. I've asked one of our editors before, but he might've forgotten about it. I have seen the one on the Polish wiki, but I'd prefer one akin to the one of Christopher Gist, so we can see a bit more of Chevalier's upper body, rather than just the head and shoulders. I'll go bother Storm about a screenshot :P Crook The Constantine District 13:11, January 15, 2015 (UTC)
Haven't forgotten, just been a bit busy with work and other gaming duties. I'll work on it in the next couple days. Stormbeast The Helpful Place 15:54, January 15, 2015 (UTC)
