Skoura's Spear

Skoura's Spear was a spear which belonged to the former soldier and fighter Skoura of the Arena in Pephka, Greece. With this spear, Skoura took the lives of many Persians, and drew the blood of even more, in the Persian War, and then went on to fight with it in the Arena.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra beat the five reigning champions of the Arena, before being told there was one more for her to face. This mysterious fighter, the best one in the history of the Arena, turned out to be the elderly Skoura, who wished to die honorably.[1]
