At some point, he fell desperately in love with her, but could not summon up the courage to tell her of his feelings.[1]
In 48 BCE, Sasobek was taken by the city guards under the claim of unpaid taxes on spices, and thrown into a cage to be transported to the local garrison. In reality, Sasobek had learned that one of their long-time customers, Lady Taimhotep, the wife of Pasherenptah, the High Priest of Ptah, was the target of a poisoning plot.[1]
Soon after the guards had seized Sasobek, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa learned of his predicament, and set about to rescue him. After Sasobek had been returned to Teta, he told the baker and the Medjay of what he'd discovered. At the same time, he confessed his his love to Teta.[1]
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- After completing the mission, if Bayek returns to the bakery and interacts with Sasobek, it is revealed that he and Teta planned to get married.
