Lee Majdoub (born 1982) is a Lebanese-Canadian actor.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Early life[edit | edit source]

Lee Majdoub was born in Tripoli in 1982, and moved around during his childhood with his family. They lived in Italy and Switzerland before permanently settling in Canada. In 2005 he graduated from California State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. While completing his studies, he enrolled in acting classes.[1]

Early career[edit | edit source]

His first acting credit was a small one episode role in the 2007 television series, Bionic Woman. Later more prominent roles included the role of Silas Dengdamor in Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, Nelson in the CW series The 100 and as Agent Stone in the live-action Sonic the Hedgehog film and its subsequent sequels.[1]

Assassin's Creed[edit | edit source]

He provided the voice for Basim ibn Ishaq, the protagonist of Assassin's Creed: Mirage, which was announced via a tweet from Majdoub's personal account.[2][3] In an interview with GamesRadar, Majdoub revealed that around eight months before getting the role of Basim, he'd only just began connecting with his Arabic and Lebanese heritage for personal reasons. Having relearned the language, he was surprised and eager when Ubisoft offered him the role. He also stated he'd been a fan of the franchise since the beginning and was being offered the role was "such a dream come true."[4] He later returned to reprise his role for Mirage's downloadable expansion Valley of Memory.
