Ktesipos' Shipwreck

Ktesipos' Shipwreck was a shipwreck located between the harbour of Sami on Kephallonia and the island of Ithaka in Greece.

In 431 BCE, the shipwreck was explored by the Spartan misthios Kassandra, who looted the valuables within.[1]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The name of the shipwreck may be a reference to the mythological Ctesippus, one of which was one of the Penelope's suitors from Ithaka.
