The Isu-Forged Blade was a tantō that Fujibayashi Naoe obtained in 1582. Made by the Isu, the weapon was left at the entrance of the Wakasa Temple by Kassandra, hoping to prevent people from investigating the site any further.[1]

In 1582, the former ashigaru[2] Kane and Kinu came across the keystone and some riddle scrolls pertaining to the temple's doorway, which glowed with glyphs written in an ancient script. Arguing amongst themselves, their noise and recent disrespectful actions in the locale attracted the attention of Naoe and Yasuke, who asked them about the door. Explaining their findings, Kane and Kinu agreed to give their scrolls and keystone in exchange for joining the Kakushiba ikki, to which Naoe and Yasuke reluctantly agreed.[1] Using the scrolls, they found the glyphs across Japan and opened the door. Inside, they found the treasures that Kassandra had left behind.[3]
