Friedrich von Glück was the Austrian ambassador to France during the French Revolution. He was the husband to Brigitta von Glück.
Biography[edit | edit source]
In the 1790s, Friedrich hired a private investigator after suspecting his wife Brigitta of infidelity. It was confirmed that she had an affair with France's Director of Finances Gabriel Beaudoin and wrote a letter inviting him to their residence in order to assault him. However, Friedrich chose to drink himself drunk rather to enact his vengeance.[1]
During his investigation into Beaudoin's death, the French Assassin Arno Dorian interrogated both Friedrich and his wife about their alibis, but found them innocent of any crimes. Arno later determined that it was Beaudoin's assistant Counselor Hervé LeGall, who coerced Beaudoin into suicide, and took him to jail.[1]
