Forum:Where do assassin's get their funding?

(Sorry for the ' in the title) How do modern assassin's pay for all the technology they use? As well as the food, hotels, vehicles, and other travel expenses. The assassin's of the past obviously stole or looted things to pay as they needed, but that would be impracticle in modern society. And I certainly don't see them having day jobs. Obviously Abstergo, though running illegal activities, is a legitimate business and has steady income, but the assassin's don't. This would be why they always say abstergo has more resources, but how do the assassins have any at all with no funding? I'm just curious where anyone thinks they get enough money to support their endeavors. Mr. Sickle33 (talk) 10:50, July 29, 2014 (UTC) MrSickle33

Weird how you apologized for the apostrophe in the title but then did it in the post itself, haha. Anyway, they do seem to own small businesses (as seen in Brahman) and they may siphon money from either the Templars or rich people who deserve to be stolen from (greedy people, world leaders, whatever) through hacking bank accounts. I'm also thinking it's not a bad assumption that some Assassins or affiliates have day jobs that allow them access to some information and receive payment. It would be similar to the Assassin spies Altair received intelligence from. 208.52.112.70 11:16, August 1, 2014 (UTC)
