It can be expanded. As I mentioned in the talk page, Southern Sporades is a good example. And, as stated above, I made this at the suggestion of DarkFeather, via Lacrossedeamon.

As for the interpretation of Hot Gates of Thermopylai... it’s the same deal as with, say, Legolas Greenleaf: the words mean the same thing, not ”X that is part of larger Y”. Not to even mention that, historically, the whole region wasn’t known as Thermopylai. It was just the passage, the place wherein the Eagle Bearer makes their comment in the game.
