Eh, this really should've been confined to a talk page if it only concerns these three pages. It doesn't make sense to make a forum post for every dispute on every page.

I will say right off the bat that I thought Odey's arguments were valid whereas the idea that we must defer to the Odyssey map was incorrect given what I explained before about game maps being only scaled-down models where we must exercise suspension of disbelief and therefore are never strictly canonical. Even in spite of that, however, my initial position was for merging with Hot Gates since I had always interpreted "Hot Gates of Thermopylai" in the game to be an extended name for just Thermopylai. I then had second thoughts because I realize that it might instead be referring to the "Hot Gates" of the region of Thermopylai, in which case Odey would be correct. I will give it a little more thought about whether I will abstain or not. For future reference, it only made sense to create a forum post for this if this dispute is of a kind shared by other sets of pages.
