So I normally could care less about badges. In fact, I regularly use the Monobook skin where I can't see badges anyways, but there's this one badge as you guys might know earned by editing everyday, for 50, 100, 200, etc. My issue with this is that I have now edited everyday on this wiki for about 300 days, but because the wiki goes by GMT and does not adjust based to one's time zone like most apps, games, other sites do, my streak has reset twice already.

When my time zone is 8 hours behind Britain, it's kind of annoying and confusing to be tracked according to Britain's time especially since i prefer to edit in the evenings instead of the mornings.Theoretically, if I were to edit everyday at the same time, it wouldn't matter, but most of the time I edit at other times too, and when I'm not consciously thinking about the streak, it can cause me to "miss a day" after 90 or 170 days when I haven't.

Like I said, I don't normally care about these badges, and I don't normally edit just for the sake of keeping up the streak; I edit out of interest and to improve the wiki, but when you have badges that take 100 and then 200 days to earn, and you should've already earned them, but has had your streak reset twice because of time zone discrepancies, it's a bit irksome. >_<

So just kind of a little rant here I guess. I doubt this issue can really be resolved since I don't think the admins of this wiki are in charge of controlling the fact the wiki only goes by one time zone rather than adjusting to a user's, and at the end of the day, this isn't really that significant of an issue.<ac_metadata title="Edit streak badges"> </ac_metadata>
