Given the duration since its release, I figure I can go into some spoiler material, and I have to say, though I didn't mind an older Evie, casting her with her young voice was a bit jarring, and it makes me wonder why Ubisoft couldn't have recast an elder woman for her voice actor.
That aside, Jack's character, even as a villain, was rather weak and it gave me the impression that they made the DLC solely on an antiquated infamy, and without any real gruesome depictions of him, it made him feel flat.
Personally, I'm hoping they redeem his insanity somewhat by having him being influenced by Kali in India, if the Last Maharaja DLC takes place between the end of Syndicate and The Jack the Ripper DLC, given that he was a initiate of Jacob's and his familiarity with the fear tools. After all, it seems to be a bit of a stale red herring if they choose to leave the Kali figurine unused as a hint, when it could neatly tie the main game and the two DLCs together if the pattern of Isuan figures and their mythological depiction calls for the introduction of another "First Civ".
Otherwise, Jacob's choice to induct a loony into the Brotherhood was just plain stupid.
