If the next installations are a trilogy and one of them does take place in Greece, the Antikythera mechanism could be a Piece of Eden featured. It could be used to tie in Desmond’s story line as it is possibly the machine used to predict the future.

I think they have been building up to doing an Ancient Egypt game since the beginning. Some of Subject 16’s Cryptic messages were Egyptian themed, in The Tyranny of King Washington episodes Washington had an All Seeing Eye themed pyramid built and used the All Seeing Eye in his propaganda on buildings, and there was an image of a man in Egypt looking at pyramids in an email in AC4 (the same email hinted at AC Unity and AC Syndicate settings like the French Revolution, Victorian England, World War I, and World War II).

I also noticed that the email in AC 4 mentioned pirates, zombies, and ninjas. They already covered pirates and ninjas would be featured in a Japan setting. I was thinking the zombies could be a hint at the ankh’s ability to temporarily resurrect people.
