I'm rather curious as to why it's apparently rarely occured to the Templars to research important figures of history through their descendants. The only real example that comes to mind is Vanessa, a descendant of Charles Darwin. But I wonder why they don't seem to do that more often. Why not kidnap a descendant of Napoleon? or Genghis Khan? I understand that some of these descendants are high profile people whose disappearance would be noticed, but surely there are some who aren't famous.

Maybe they do kidnap those kind of people and we're just never told, which seems to odd to me. Anyone else have thoughts on this?<ac_metadata title="Descendants of famous people"> </ac_metadata>
