I admit, it might be of little concern, but I'd like to see some challenge re-introduced back through scarcity of equipment.

Altaïr only had his Hidden Blade, a dagger, a sword and throwing knives, and while you could also slay most things that came your way, it felt closer to the historical premise than Renaissance Barbie or Whines-like-Baby ever did.
