guys, an ac game with philippines as the setting could work. It could bring the focus of ac games to asia for the philippines is a mixture of cultures, both western and eastern. It could serve as the transitional game for other ac games with other asian countries as setting. With regards to abscence of scalable buildings in my country, just take a look at ac3 liberation and ac3. Both games had a share of nature as freerunning platform. The game could take place during the Spanish and American Era. Guards can use both firearms and bladed weapons, making them easily identified with guards that we previously faced in former ac games. Philippines has a wide range of weaponry, we used the blowgun, bow and arrow, various swords (most of them are short swords), daggers, spears and firearms. The hidden blade could easily fit in the filipino setting; the spaniards made it a norm for filipinos to wear barongs (translucent clothing) in order to show concealed weapons. Because of that, there is an inevitable need of the hidden blade. The filipinos were oppressed in a way similar to native americans; templars could easily fit in the picture. If ubisoft is really looking for an interesting setting, they should consider philippines. As far as I know, there is no game that featured my country. The possibilities are endless. C'mon lets discuss it.
