The Anaphi Shipwreck was an shipwreck located near the western shore of the island Anaphi during the 5th century BCE.
During the Peloponnesian War, pirates forced a fisherman to crash his boat on the shore, and then attacked the man and his crew. The Spartan misthios Kassandra helped them, having been sent by the fisherman's wife to look for her husband.[1] Around the same time, Kassandra claimed the valuables within the shipwreck.[2]
