I don't think the memory corridor is necessary in a fanfic. Actually I don't like the memory corridor in general. It makes no sense. At least with Desmond it never happened when he killed Templars which I found surprising. When I air assassinated Daniel I expected a final moment cut-scene, not for it to just skip to a different scene.
