Dan Vargas
Dan Vargas is a Senior Art Director at Ubisoft Leamington,[1] having formerly worked at Ubisoft Quebec.

Early life and career[edit | edit source]
Dan Vargas, a graduate of the Animation and Digital FX program from the Vancouver Film School in 1999 and Fine Arts from Langara College, has worked in the video game industry since 2000. He began his career at Electronic Arts' Motion Capture Studio, contributing to various sports and action titles. Vargas then moved to EA Blackbox Studios, where he worked as a Concept/Texture Artist and Environment Modeller on the Need for Speed: Underground series, Most Wanted, and Carbon, as well as on user interface design for March Madness 06. Afterward, he spent two years at Next Level Games as a Technical Artist, contributing to Spider-Man: Friend or Foe.[2]
Assassin's Creed[edit | edit source]
The first Assassin's Creed title Vargas worked on was Assassin's Creed III, contributing as a level artist to both the base game and its expansion, The Tyranny of King Washington.[2]
In 2014, during the early development of Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, Vargas worked closely with the concept artists; one such artist, Fernando Acosta, praised the collaborative efforts of the team.[3]
