Peterhouse is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge in England.[1]

History[edit | edit source]

In May 1519, members of the local chapter of the Assassins visited Peterhouse as part of their search for the clues to the havens Leonardo da Vinci hid in London.[2] Having been tasked with locating which building Thomas More was being kept in at the tower of London, an Assassin travelled to Peterhouse, Cambridge seeking allies of More.[3] There, they attended a talk by Richard Croke, a disciple of Desiderius Erasmus.[4] Croke, a friend of More, had spent the last few weeks doing his own investigation on the matter, managing to figure out that his friend was being kept somewhere between Martin Tower and Well Tower, which he relayed to the Assassin.[5] While still at the university, the Assassin interacted with a group of students, collecting information on everything related to More's enprisonment and discussing the Tower of London with a specialist on urban planning,[6] acquiring a section of the prison's floor plans.[7]
