Eshima

Eshima is a rock formation and a vantage point to obtain a beautiful sight of the Moon located in Awaji, Japan.[1]

History[edit | edit source]

In 1585, the Kakushiba ikki member and shinobi Fujibayashi Naoe followed a trail that led her through an abandoned village and ended at an outlook to the rock formation. With the landmark in sight, Naoe drew a sumi-e and took it back to the homestead for Junjiro's collection.[2]
