Hana was a Japanese girl and the daughter of Tsuyoshi who lived in Yuasa, Kii during the late Sengoku period.
Biography[edit | edit source]
In the 1580s, Hana and her father Tsuyoshi were shocked and surrounded an English wanderer Eamon Hathaway, along with their fellow villagers. Eamon soon showed them strange symbols, asked them about the symbols, and learned the location of a door with the same symbols. In exchange of their help, he showcased his wood carvings of a bear and a jaguar, which he gave to Hana. However, his questioning was cut short upon being confronted by Fujibayashi Naoe and her ally Yasuke. After a tense discussion, Eamon soon offered to show the kids a carving of a wooden elephant, making his escape from Naoe and Yasuke.[1]
Afterwards, Hana and her father were at their home until they were met by a bleeding Nirmala, who held Hana's father hostage. Soon, Naoe and Yasuke appeared and demanded the man's release. Yet, Nirmala stabbed the man and made her escape while the pair aided Tsuyoshi. Hana was in despair until Naoe and Yasuke promised to help her father. Together, along with the locals, they all came to help Tsuyoshi.[2]
