Robert Jimenez
Robert Jimenez was a Templar operative who worked for Abstergo Industries in the late 21st century.

In 2096, Robert Jimenez was tasked by his case officer Han to track down "the Watchers". However, with many unsuccessful attempts to infiltrate the group, he theorized the Watchers may be the Assassins, a presumably defunct organization, which may be working with another enemy operative Aed. However, Robert's filed report led Han to reject his request of further deployment and his re-assignment to the Virus.[1] Robert was later assigned to follow a potential lead, "The Dealer", a possible ally to the Watchers. Using the alias, "Matt Bachman," he discovered the Dealer's access to the Dark Animus.[2]
Robert then apprehended the Dealer and began to torture him for further information but to no avail. Yet, with the help of Abstergo's AI Ego, they extracted information from the Dealer successfully. Later, Robert found himself in Ego's company and felt ease and no pain but then instantly needing to see her again once it ended.[3] After being commended for his work,[4] Robert soon made accessed the Dark Animus again and learned that something nefarious happened to him in his initial meeting. Subsequently, Robert burnt his bedroom with any evidence, destroyed their bugs, and took out an bio-augmented surveillance device from his eye as a means of hiding himself from Abstergo. He later sought out Aed for help on the truth of the Dark Animus, no matter the cost.[5]
