Description	C-130E TC-62 of the Argentine Air Force was destroyed when a bomb placed by Montoneros exploded on the runway in front of the aircraft during take-off from Tucuman, Argentina. Six of 114 Gendarmes on board were killed.[6] See Operativo Independencia for the background history.
