Fólkvangr ("People-Field"), also known as Freyja's Fields, was one of the aspects of the afterlife in Norse mythology, along with Valhalla and Helheim. The fields were ruled over by the queen of Asgard and goddess of love Freyja, who welcomed half of the einherjar chosen to enter Asgard, with the other half joining Odin in Valhalla. While only warriors could enter Valhalla, people who were honorable in their daily life were accepted in Fólkvangr.
