Au Revoir
Au Revoir is a memory in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
Description
Ezio pursues Octavian de Valois, who had taken Bartolomeo's wife, Pantasilea, deeper into the French camp. Ezio makes his way, undetected, towards the Baron and assassinates him, saving Pantasilea.
Dialogue
Bartolomeo and his mercenaries attack the French soldiers.
- Bartolomeo: Ezio. You have to save my wife. Take the rooftops.
Ezio chases after the Baron on the rooftops. He reaches a closed gate and kills the four guards in front of it to gain access. He then reaches the gate lever and opens the gate.
Ezio sees the Baron dragging Pantasilea into his keep. The Baron notices Ezio, turns, and shoots his arquebus at Ezio, who is able to evade the shot.

Ezio must now kill the Baron without being detected, or else Pantasilea wil be killed. Ezio works his way around the guards, and kills the Baron from above.
- Octavian: I only wanted respect.
- Ezio: Respect is earned, not inherited or purchased.
- Octavian: Perhaps you are right... I need more time...
- Ezio: Che tu sia pari nella morte. (May you be equal in death.) Requiescat in pace. (Rest in peace.)
Ezio unties Pantasilea and Bartolomeo arrives.
- Bartolomeo: Pantasilea! (They embrace) Don't ever disappear again. I was lost without you.
- Pantasilea: Really? But you rescued me.

- Bartolomeo: Ezio came up with a brilliant plan.
- Ezio: I did not. It was all your husband's idea.
- Bartolomeo: It was?
- Pantasilea: (to Bartolomeo) You are my prince. (They embrace again).
- Bartolomeo: Now I better earn that title.
- Pantasilea: You will.
Pantasilea walks off.
- Pantasilea: (to Ezio) Thank you.
Bartolomeo pats Ezio on the shoulder, then follows his wife.
Outcome
Ezio succeeds in rescuing Pantasilea, giving credit to Bartolomeo. He also succeeds in assassinating the Baron de Valois, which removes the French army from Rome and cripples Cesare's grip on the city.
