Assassin bureau

- "You must now report to each Bureau leader before carrying out your task."

An Assassins' Bureau is an Assassin-controlled safehouse located in each of the three main cities featured in Assassin's Creed. It serves as safe haven for Assassins (such as Altaïr) before and after assassinations.
Characteristics
The Assassins' Bureau is more or less a sanctuary for Assassin Instructors in the field, and the Assassin's Order in general. Inside each bureau, resides a bureau leader. The bureau leaders will often provide Altaïr with useful hints as to where to gather information on an assassination target. Once the information is gathered, and approved by the bureau leaders, Altaïr is given a feather to soak in the blood of his target as proof of his success.
The entrance of the Assassins' Bureau is located on the roof, most likely as a measure to prevent curious citizens from stumbling upon it. This entrance will be closed when your current social status is exposed, to prevent guards from discovering the Bureau and subsequently violating the Creed. The Assassin Bureau is also a place where weapons and other useful equipment is made. Altaïr may return to the bureau any time to restock on throwing knives. Just before assassinations, the Bureau can also be used for Assassins to physically and mentally prepare.
Building
The exterior of the building is quite discreet, resembling that of a normal construction, although it does not have any obvious windows or doors. The entrance is located on the roof, which can be reached by either climbing the walls or via a ladder located in an entry alley.
The inside is divided into only two rooms:
Main Chamber

The entrance to the Bureau. The Main Chamber is a small living area comprised of two fountains and several pillows. This place is intended for an Assassin to rest before and after assassinations, allowing them to wait for the appropriate moment to strike, or for the dust to settle after an assassination.
The walls are decorated with hanging carpets and the Assassin insignia, while the ground has potted plants, pillows, and more carpets.
The ceiling is grated, with an opening that serves as an entrance into the Bureau. When the city is on alert, the opening is closed with a grated panel.
Bureau Leader's Room
The leader's chamber is adjacent to the Main Chamber. From behind a stand, the leader addresses those who come to speak with him, while also studying and attending to the needs of the Assassins' operations in that respective city.
Behind the desk are bookshelves and closets, where registries of missions are kept. The books and scrolls the Leader has access to are also located in this area. Across the room, a raised walkway holds weapons and books, things that may help with the carrying out of a mission.
