In Assassin's Creed III, several outfits are available to those who complete certain challenges. Once an outfit is unlocked and equipped, it will alter Connor Kenway's appearance. However, unlike armor, most of these costumes do not affect any other gameplay elements.

Outfits can be unlocked through a variety of methods, which are enumerated below.

General Appearance

Captain of the Aquila Outfit

The Captain of the Aquila Outfit was worn by Connor Kenway by default when on board the Aquila. It could be unlocked for use in free-roam by purchasing the Digital Deluxe Edition of Assassin's Creed III[1] or by pre-ordering the game at Amazon.[2]

Colonial Assassin Outfit

The Colonial Assassin Outfit was previously owned by the Assassin John DeLatour. It could be unlocked for use in free-roam by purchasing the Digital Deluxe Edition of Assassin's Creed III[1] or by pre-ordering the game at Target.Cite error: The opening <ref> tag is malformed or has a bad name

Trivia

  • The original concept of the Colonial Assassin Outfit was quite similar to Connor's default attire, with a cloak and the outfit's primary color being some of the notable differences.
  • The original concept of the Captain of the Aquila Outfit had Connor with the tricorn hat above his hood.
