Anon edit on Ezio quote

Hi there, I don't know if you've noticed, but recently an anon user has been consistently editing the Ezio Auditore article, messing up one of the quotes on the article. I have previously asked the anon to refrain from doing this, explaining what affects his edits were having on the template, but they have since chosen to ignore me and ocntinued to do the same such thing. As one of the admins on this site, I have chosen to leave the next step in your capable hands.

About the anon, he's blocked for 3 days, more info on his talk page. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, Ducato. And I know you already have rollback rights, but want to join the moderators group? I remember you already were a Istruttori, but disapeared for some time. Well, pretty much what you're already doing... watching articles, reverting bad or vandalized edits, keeping an eye out for the wiki. The new responsabilities would be the user interaction (since mod and admins are like the face of the wiki) and the focus on improving the wiki via new articles, ideas and projects. Every once and a while the staff reunites to discuss what's happening. Of course those meetings aren't yet near organized or constant as Wookieepedia, for example, but we do it.
Altough we're good, my current idea is to expand the wiki as much as possible, so we can increase the staff numbers. More people, more activity, more ideas, better wiki. -- D. Cello 00:01, May 6, 2010 (UTC)

Our friend is back to vandalising that quote on the Ezio article again. Although they seem to be operatin under a new IP adress. As for becoming a moderator, the difficulty I have is in that I'm only really able to get online when I have some spare time, and with both work and university to consider, my spare time doesn't amount to much. This other IP seems convinced that it was Ezio twenty ninth birthday that something happened, and his activity dates from 4 months ago. Maybe it isn't the same guy. Are you absolutely sure that twentyseventh is correct? -- D. Cello 03:28, May 9, 2010 (UTC)

It's not the age that concerns me. It's the constant messing up of the quote template that's irritating me; I just reverted it when I saw the quote template had been changed again, must not have noticed a difference in the age. This is my talk page, it's correct. And I just don't like MSG4, it bores me. I think the hype for it was great mainly because of the PS3 and the franchise. We've never heard of it anymore after the release, it never made it into any top 10 games of the decade or nothing. But anyway, it's my opinion, you shouldn't have a problem with that. ;D

Al Mualim's Knife

I have been thinking about wether this article adds any important information to the article. We know almost nothing about it, and as far as we know, it might as well just be an ordinary knife that Al Mualim just picked up from a desk or something. Even if the knife would be worth mentioning, wouldn't it be better to just put it in Al Mualim's main article rather than to create a completely new one with about three sentences? -- Master Sima Yi 06:54, May 9, 2010 (UTC)

Redlinks

• Cello, you haven't happened to have prevent redlinks from showing on this wiki have you? I ask because all links I put in are showing up as liking to written articles (i.e. the links are blue), even when I know the articles do not exist. Yeah, that's been on for more than a month now. I contacted WikiaGroup and we were selected by Wikia Gaming to test this new interface. All links are blue to ease the acess of new users, and pages that don't exist are directed to a pre-layout. It's all part of a new experiment to include new members. Wikipedia is dying, man. Maybe you read it in the papers. But they are working to prevent that.
btw, while it's kind of odd, it doesn't really affects anything, so it's probably staying that way. -- D. Cello 21:39, May 13, 2010 (UTC)
