Hey Bovkaffe,
Firstly, welcome to the Wiki again :) I know you're not really new, but I figured there's no harm to it. Now, I've seen you post a message on Vatsa's talkpage; he's on here occasionally, but sometimes it takes a little for him to reply (from my experience anyways, which admittedly, has been limited). Your 'nobles' category was probably removed because it was quite broad and not all that needed. I know you're a prolific category maker, but in the future, try to keep in mind whether the category is concrete enough and doesn't encompass half the universe's characters (I'm exaggerating, but you take my point?).

I wanted to talk to you about this rather than having an edit war. Privateers are not Royal Navy personnel. They are effectively private contractors who are authorized by a given government to attack foreign vessels. Just like you wouldn't say that the Hessians were British soldiers, you wouldn't say that privateers are Navy personnel. Is there a reason you want to call them that?

So on Rhona's page, it said she appeared in the Assassin's Creed Black Flag novel and when I checked, I saw it was you that added that bit of information. If that's so, to what extent does she appear? Like, is the topic of the Templar Hunt brought up or is it just the brief moment in 1722 where she's given the Crystal Skull to safekeep? Is any new information given on her? And for that matter, do any of the other Master Assassins (Opia, Anto, Upton and Vance) make an appearance? A Single Madman Dialogue
Hey Bovkaffe, it's me again. So I added some dialogue that was missing to the A Single Madman mission, but I couldn't for the life of me hear the lines you included for du Casse. I've replayed the mission several times now but I can't seem to trigger them :s Do you remember in what situation du Casse says this:
What's happening there? See that the cargo is secure! Move your ass and do your job, (son of a bitch!)

Some things.
Ben Hornigold and Ed Thatch both received Letters of Marque from the British monarch Queen Anne, permissing them to attack and plunder ships belonging to rival navies, before the Treaty of Utrecht came into effect. By extension, as royal privateers of the British Crown, they can be considered under the Royal Navy.
Also, I am a little confused why a category denoting dukes, a masculine term, is used upon Charlotte d'Albret, even though she was Cesare's wife. - The optional objectives are merely just extra mission goals and although it means "how the ancestor did it," the main focus on his background is on the game's story and not on gameplay itself. I'm sorry, I'm not trying to start an undo war with you, but I think Orelov should be in a category that reflects his betrayal, even if he did not join the Templars. Triple agent

Lucy never pretended to be the double agent for Assassins - just an agent, since the Templars decided to pretend they didn't know of her background.
First, she started out as an Assassin agent in Abstergo, simple as that. When her allegiance shifted, she became a double agent for Templars - pretending to Assassins she was an agent for them.

Hey Bovkaffe,
So, I don't remember when, but I think you posted a comment on one of the blogs, saying the Rogue demos were taking place in May 1754, right? And you said that Haytham wouldn't have been in the colonies yet at that point. I was looking at Haytham's article, but it doesn't say what month he arrived :s Could you get back to me on this? If it's true, we should try and contact the developers behind Rogue so they can fix it (I'm not even sure if that's possible but I figure it's worth a shot). That date is from Forsaken. Initiates doesn't say anything about it, but it claims that he was still on the Providence on the 14th July.

- I don't find "because they're tiny" a very compelling argument :/ Those treasures recovered by Alonzo are not very useful in illustrating an article on an individual. If there's important information on the invidivual in the treasures' description, that should be added the article though. But I don't see much use in adding an item of the indivual to the gallery. Braddock as Templar turncoat
Forgive me for being sceptical, but what you're saying is not made obvious in the article. Just because Braddock acts against Haytham does not mean the former has betrayed the Templar Order - seems more like a vendetta against Haytham than anything else. Besides, he still wore his Templar Ring. Is that not proof that he considered himself a Templar still?
As I have not read Forsaken, this is all I know. Please elaborate on what Haytham has to say on Braddock in it, cause without any strong arguments, I'm disinclined to believe you. Is it ever explicitly said that Braddock left the Templars? That should be the main criteria of categorizing somebody as a "Templar turncoat" (even if I'd still prefer it if the term was used exclusively for those that betrayed the Templars and joined the Assassins). I've reverted your edit on the Palais de Versailles article. Whilst you are correct that this is not a French language wiki, this wiki uses the in-game Database names when referring to landmarks. In this case, the Database entry is under "Palais de Versailles". Since when was this a policy? Just because pages made years ago were named in that manner, doesn't mean it applies to all other pages. For instance, in Brotherhood, the Colosseum is referred to as Il Colosseo, but it's also referred to simply as the Colosseum. Besides, not even the database is consistent. - This has been our policy for several years now. A database may use names interchangeably, and in such cases our articles reflect that. If the Colosseum article uses the English name, that will be because it's database entry in Brotherhood does so. The only occasion wherein we do not necessarily follow the databases is city names (such as Venice, Florence etc.) I will be moving the article back once more. - The game shows us that there are five seats on the council, in the sequence Bellec take the empty one, the fact that he do not wear the same mantle can easily be explained by the fact that he was the one waiting for Arno outside of the chamber. In the game he is also one of the leading figure of the French Brotherhood so nothing contradict his membership to the council. Image uploads
Hey Bov,
I assume you have read my edit summary by now, but just in case: when Initiates makes it own art to illustrate database entries, feel free to upload and add it. If Initiates uses existing concept art, we should make sure adding the image has informative value. I don't consider a concept art of a character slapped over another concept art as background very useful, especially when the character concept itself is already in the gallery.
Also, if you can, double-check whether the image doesn't already exist on the wiki without the Initiates watermark over it - now, I realize that's probably asking a bit much, so you can rely on me for that most of the time. I've spent some time looking for Assassin's Creed concept art, so I know some of the regulars, as well as their watermarks (for example, if you see a 'D' somewhere on the concept, it's Martin Deschambault's work - D.Y. is Donglu Yu, and so on). It means some of your uploads will be deleted though, as they'll be duplicates we don't really have any use for.
Finally, SirGareth on the IRC has taught me about licensing, so it's important you know this as well for image sourcing. It's really easy, cause the only type of licensing that accurately describes our 'use' of the image is the {{Permission}} template. The credit belongs to Ubisoft, but we're using the image in a descriptive way, for commentary, without claiming ownership. The CC-by-sa-3.0 is about material that has been explicitly established as 'Creative Commons'; none of Ubisoft's material falls under this, as far as I'm aware. Public Domain is for when copyright expires, which I doubt it ever will in Ubisoft's case.

Basically there is a scene in the novel where Cotton exclaims that Arbaaz Mir's hidden blade could add to his collection of them, insinuating that like some other figures in AC lore he collects them as trophies of those assassins he has killed.
