Any particular reason why this article is named "Tamir the Merchant" and not just "Tamir"?

Maybe the one below might answer your question. There are two Tamirs from two different games who are different. Disambig-ing.

So, there is Tamir character in Altaïr's Chronicles and in the main game? And both are killed... strange. Maybe they are two different man... or retcon... or what? Master Mold 15:02, October 29, 2009 (UTC)
