Talk:Marcello Auditore
Statement needing Verification
"However, as Ezio never told his wife what the chest contained, she suspected Ezio intended to give Marcello an opportunity to become an Assassin, and discarded the key into a river, keeping Marcello ignorant of his heritage."
This is a pretty significant detail, honestly. It's sourced to the game Assassin's Creed: Identity, but I've played the game and never encountered anything of it. In fact, Ezio only appears once in the game in a non-canonical section, and the entire game is set before Revelations. Can someone verify where in the game this information is given? - Hey Sol. I only found a line in the game file that said: "Ezio died in Firenze at the age of 65. Before his death, Ezio told his wife, Sofia, that on the 22nd birthday of their son, she should gift him a key to a chest that was kept hidden in the catacombs under the Villa Auditore."
