Historicity

It doesn't have to based on Richard I though, and nowhere does it resemble him. It can simply just be a lieutenant by Ubisoft for no particular reason, like the other lieutenants that aren't based on ingame or mythological characters. XOdeyssusx (talk) 14:58, March 21, 2019 (UTC)

Neither do Artemis/Athena lieutenants resemble the images/statues of the goddesses, so stating resemblance (or lack thereof) as basis for anything is...questionable, imo. Same goes for the lieutenant Odysseus: not much in the way of resemblance to the mural we have of him. Sadelyrate (siniath) 15:05, March 21, 2019 (UTC)
Whilst I feel that the avatars Artemis and Odysseus are fairly clear-cut references to the historical Greek individuals (and gods) of the same names, it's quite apparent to me that "Lionheart" has no connection to Richard I of England. Not only do the two characters not look alike, but Richard I is such a minor character in AC-lore that there's no reason why he would warrant a character avatar. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 15:48, March 21, 2019 (UTC)
