I played through Assassin's Creed III after Boston has been evacuated by the British and upon attempting to take the fort I counted the garrison as sixteen. Surely there is no harm in numbering the garrison. Agrable2 (talk) 06:27, February 6, 2014 (UTC)

For a start, there' nothing to suggest that the number of guards you encountered is the same for everybody else, that would need to be confirmed by multiple users who I suspect do not have the time or energy to check such a minor detail. Secondly, I'm not really sure what informative benefit adding the garrison size would give the article... --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 09:13, February 6, 2014 (UTC)
One might as well ask why have an article on a fort at all. It is after all a game about fictional events and largely fictional people. There are articles on the wiki which give the number of town watch. Furthermore my suggestion was a trivia entry, that is not in the main body of the article. Trivia are interesting little tidbits that do not serve any particular informative benefit other than the slight pleasure that comes reading them. Precisely. Trivia is interesting. 16 people on a fort isn't interesting, so why bother adding it? Slate Vesper (talk) 01:08, February 7, 2014 (UTC)
What is interesting and is not is entirely a matter of perspective. People who are in this wiki and read the trivia section have an interest that is above many who play Assassin's Creed, it was interesting to me and may prove interesting to someone else. There can be no harm in it being there.128.220.3.61 01:46, February 7, 2014 (UTC)
