Muskets/Rifles?

so is it confirmed/possible to carry and use a rifle/musket at any time in AC:3 ? Or must it be picked up from a dead enemy and then dropped sooner or later? 86.135.13.3 20:22, April 3, 2012 (UTC)

Muskets CAN be picked up

So..... After the "Faithful Acolyte" gameplay on IGN, and Gamespots Inside Assassin's Creed 3 I guess it is okay to add that both Aveline and Connor could carry Muskets on their backs. ThatRandomUser ~Lair of Randomness ^{(Enter at own risk)} 05:45, August 23, 2012 (UTC)

French Coat Pistol

Where it says that the dual pistol are only single shot, i crafted the french coat pistols and they hold two shots each (if you have the double holster), Although, due to a glitch one is removed and replaced with the Pitcairn-Putnam Pistol.Trever09 ^{A place for Chivalry | Blog} 22:05, November 8, 2012 (UTC)

I've had similar issues with the glitch. The second pistol is commonly swapped to the last pistol (except the type you're equipped with) that you used. Eg when I use two Putnam's one becomes a double-barrel and vice versa. Eggy2504 (talk) 22:09, November 8, 2012 (UTC)
