Memory?
Is this actually a memory relived through the Animus? Leonidas's children were already born. And when does Layla relive it. We immediately start up as either Alexios or Kassandra after getting the Spear. I feel like here we are actually supposed to be Leonidas instead of Layla reliving his memory through the Animus.Lacrossedeamon (talk) 20:18, October 2, 2018 (UTC)
- That was my concern as well. It's only after the sequence with Leonidas that Layla is introduced and then enters the Animus, so it's no one's memories that are being relived. So, for me at least, that negated any of the "memory" categories normally used. Raylan13<staff/> (talk) 22:03, October 2, 2018 (UTC)
- There’s a similar issue in Syndicate with the Crawford Starrick cutscenes but I think that gets handwaved in an Abstergo document or something. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 22:29, October 2, 2018 (UTC)
- It would seem to me that, since they're using Herodotus' book to supplement the corrupted genetic material, that is where the information came from. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 15:52, October 9, 2018 (UTC)

The only issue is that Layla never relives it. The sequence happens before she retrieves the spear and before she enters the Animus. I haven't run across anything in the game that suggests otherwise. Raylan13<staff/> (talk) 16:17, October 9, 2018 (UTC)
