Saving Civilians
Did we count saving civilians from harrasers like in AC1, Brotherhood as activities? In AC1, we unlock DNA part like for the viewpoint. Francesco75 (talk) 14:37, 27 May 2024 (UTC)
- Probably. Basically anything that is noted on the map as something to complete that isn’t noted as a memory should go here whether it’s a collectible, location to complete, or mini event like those in Unity where you rescue a person. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 18:09, 28 May 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, saving civilians is definitely an activity although I'm personally not much in favour of this article about literal gameplay. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 22:11, 19 June 2024 (UTC)
Article merit
Addressing Sol's comment in the above topic I would argue that this is an animus derived designation as seen in the synch and DNA progress log interface. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 04:46, 22 June 2024 (UTC)
- Of course you would, and I argue as usual that we should always refrain from "Animus-izing" every gameplay element in the series except when needed as a last resort. This article is a good example of one of the reasons why. It is an entirely OOU article disguised as an IU article by the mere mention of being set in an Animus except a video game and is very awkward. However, there was no need to open up a new topic about this because I was only mentioning my disfavour to this article off-hand and did not propose for its deletion. This is part of a broader issue that needs to be revisited later. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 05:12, 22 June 2024 (UTC)
- Okay actually, I would carry on this discussion to make one quick suggestion: it should at least be moved to "Animus activities". Just calling it "activities" is quite vague and ambiguous. It also needs an appearances section and citations and technically is liable for deletion on their absence lone. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 05:22, 22 June 2024 (UTC)
