Zhang Xiaojing
Zhang Xiaojing (张小敬) was a Tang soldier who served as a cavalry troop within the Army of Dragon Warriors.
Being part of the imperial guard unit serving in Chang'an, Zhang Xiaojing was among those that escorted the Emperor and his family when they fled from the capital for Shu. As part of a mutiny against the official and Golden Turtles leader Yang Guozhong, the army refused to assist and aid the official. When Guozhong attempted to flee from his assassins on horseback, Zhang Xiaojing fired the arrow which fell Guozhong from his horse, allowing the rest of the soldiers to repeatedly stab him to death with their spears.[1]
