The Zanes of the Cheats was a monument made up of several bronze statues of Zeus within the Sanctuary of Olympia in Elis, Greece.
The statues were made as memorials of athletes who participated in the Olympic Games but were discovered to have cheated or otherwise broken rules. To further shame them, the pedestals of the statues were engraved with the names of the cheats.
During the 428 BCE Olympics the Spartan misthios Kassandra visited the Zanes.[1]
