Water Mill

The Water Mill was a mill located on the outskirts of Baghdad, situated northwest of the city.

In the 860s, the Master Assassin Roshan met with the Zanj rebels at the water mill, where they awaited the news about the rebellion's leader Ali ibn Muhammad. Ali arrived some time later, after being rescued by the Hidden One Basim Ibn Ishaq at the Damascus Gate Prison, with Basim himself arriving soon after. There, Ali and the Hidden Ones discussed their findings on the Order of the Ancients member Al-Ghul, uncovering the identity as Mas'ood Al-Ya'qoob, a soap mill owner. Thanks to Beshi's information on Mas'ood's whereabouts, Roshan left the mill with Basim to locate and assassinate Mas'ood.[1]
